Blue-shaded areas, such as Greenland and Siberia, indicate temperatures less than negative 48 degrees Celsius. Purple regions, including regions near Greenland, show temperatures between negative 42 degrees Celsius and negative 47 degrees Celsius. Light purple areas like northwestern Russia, much of Greenland, and the northern hemisphere above Canada have temperatures from negative 36 degrees Celsius to negative 41 degrees Celsius, while lavender regions shaded dark pink in northern Canada, Russia, and some parts in the Southern Hemisphere range from negative 30 degrees Celsius to negative 35 degrees Celsius. Pink areas in northern Europe, northern Russia, the northern hemisphere, some regions in the southern hemisphere, and central Canada show temperatures between negative 24 degrees Celsius and negative 29 degrees Celsius, and light pink regions in southern Russia, China, Mongolia, some western regions of the southern hemisphere, and southern Canada range from negative 18 degrees Celsius to negative 23 degrees Celsius. Light orange areas, such as parts of the U S A and eastern Europe, Mongolia, and some parts of China, have temperatures between negative 12 degrees Celsius and negative 17 degrees Celsius, and orange regions, including parts of the U S A, Europe, and East Asia, range from negative 6 degrees Celsius to negative 11 degrees Celsius. Dark orange areas in central U S A, Europe, East Asia, and much of the Southern Ocean part have temperatures from 0 degrees Celsius to 5 degrees Celsius, while yellow regions in central U S A, Iceland, Norway, and much of the Southern Ocean region range from 6 degrees Celsius to 8 degrees Celsius. Light yellow areas, such as the southern U S A, Iceland, the United Kingdom, Turkey, Iran, and much of the Southern Ocean region, have temperatures between 3 degrees Celsius and 5 degrees Celsius, and dark brown regions in Mexico, northern Africa, Spain, and parts of the South Atlantic Ocean range from 12 degrees Celsius to 14 degrees Celsius. Very dark brown areas in central U S A, central and eastern Africa, South Africa, parts of South America, Vietnam, India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, parts in the South Atlantic Ocean and Indian Ocean, some parts in the North Atlantic Ocean, and South Pacific Ocean show temperatures from 21 degrees Celsius to 23 degrees Celsius. Dark red areas, such as central Australia, represent temperatures over 30 degrees Celsius.
